WHY THIS PAIRING

This is the setup for one very good coffee at a time. The Primus runs a gear pump rather than a vibratory one — quieter, and steadier over the length of a shot — and its 70–98°C range goes lower than anything else in our line, which is what light roasts need. The ZP-1 matches it: 40g single dose, ultra-low retention, so the bean you put in is the bean you taste, with nothing left over from yesterday. Grind one dose, pull one shot, change beans whenever you like.

Between them they need 37cm of bench width, though the Primus is 49cm front to back — measure your counter depth before ordering.
